Everyday Single Day I Need Grace Day 7/30

This morning I woke up with a concern. I had an unanswered prayer. Or should I call it an item on my worry list? Most of yesterday I was thinking about this particular topic and didn’t have a solution. Looked for help but nothing came out. I slept last night tired.
As soon as my eyes opened this morning, this notorious item on my worry list was right there, as if it was waiting for me to get up.

I rushed to my darling Father, still restless and worried. Searched through the scriptures; what was I looking for? Who was I looking for? Well, my Father, I was looking for his word for me today. I was looking for Him like one looking for her beloved; in our calm garden, where is He?

I checked Matthew, read a few verses, hmm…I sense He is close but still not there, I went to Mark, read a few verses…yeah sounds like Him but not very clear. Then I went to Psalm and he was right there, I see him, I hear him, I sense him.

My darling father spoke right to me:
““If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says GOD, “I’ll get you out of any trouble. I’ll give you the best of care if you’ll only get to know and trust me. Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party. I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!””

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭91:14-16‬ ‭MSG‬‬

All of a sudden my eyes popped open, I jumped up and started praying in tongues. This is usual for me; whenever I hear God like this. I jump up and start to pray in tongues. I continued to meditate on His words to me.

My item of worry…I can hand it to Him. I can trust Him. Immediately, I dropped it at his feet. My life is yours, Lord. I hand this over to you.

That moment I let it go, it’s no longer mine to carry. It’s His’ now. My worry list is empty. Thank you, Jesus!

I spent more time in prayers and then went on with my morning routines.
I picked up my phone about an hour after and the solution was right there. Many options even.

Hmm…
Oh what peace we often forfeit

Oh what needless pain we bear

All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer

Today on the power of words
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things (Phil. 4:8).

Keep your mind focused on his promises to you. Meditate on it. Pray about it. And pray the same for anyone stressing you (if any). That way you will be able to resist pointing fingers at them. Its very easy to point fingers, especially to retaliate an error.

If you think of Gods promises, if you trust Him to reveal truths to you in His word, you will be overwhelmed by His love and it will be easier to share that love.

What has God opened your eyes to lately? Share with us here and have a great day.
